One week after a star-studded finish at the Honda Classic, golf fans figure to see a similar week at Doral. This will be one of the strongest fields to play all year, and these top golfers will take on one of the nation’s easier courses this week. Here’s a look at the best bets to come out on top…

Charl Schwartzel (25/1): Schwartzel looked sharp at the Honda Classic last week, peppering the greens en route to a T5. He has a solid history at Doral, including a runner-up in 2010.

Rory McIlroy (6/1): He’s simply on fire right now. McIlroy’s win over a charging Tiger Woods at the Honda Classic made it 12 straight top-8 finishes worldwide. The only reason he’s not a favorable play is the meager potential payout for another win.

Hunter Mahan (30/1): The Accenture Match Play champion took last week off, but Mahan is poised for a big performance at Doral. He led after the first and second rounds at the Cadillac a year ago before fading to a ninth-place finish.

Dustin Johnson (25/1): Johnson looks fully recovered and then some after offseason knee surgery, going top-5 in his past two stroke-play starts. At Doral last year, he took a lead into Sunday before settling for second.

Tiger Woods (6/1): Maybe he’s back, but Tiger has a tendency to follow up a big week by falling flat on his face. He’s a three-time champ at Doral and his red-hot final round 62 at the Honda Classic was certainly encouraging, but the payout just isn’t there for a guy who’s been far too inconsistent in the second act of his career.
