Bill Haas Odds to Win 2014 US Masters Slashed From 80-1 to 16-1

The payout odds were still good for Bill Haas coming into Friday.  He sat atop the leaderboard after coming into this year’s Masters as an 80-1 long shot.  Should he hold on to win, Haas would pay $8000 on a $100 bet.  Currently, you can get him paying $1600 on a $100 bet or $160 on a $10 bet at Sportsbook.com

Last year’s winner, Adam Scott, was entering Friday in 2nd place on the leaderboard and that has many a gambler licking their respective chops.  Being a reigning champion, Scott attracted some decent betting volume.  His odds were cut from 12-1 to 6-1 at Sportsbook.com.

Bubba Watson sat in 3rd place and promised a payout of $2000 on a $100 bet coming into Thursday.  His current odds were 8-1.

The early favorite to win, Rory McIlroy, was within the top 20, however, Phil Mickelson, who had the second shortest odds coming into Thursday, sat among the bottom of the pack.
