ball Betting Picks, DFS Plays – May 2

Gambling911.com has your Major League Baseball betting picks for May 2.

White Sox vs. Twins OVER 9 - 81% of those betting the total of this game were backing the OVER, pushing it from 8.5 to 9.

Seven of the last ten games in this series have gone OVER 7.5. The OVER is 9-3 in the last 11 games of this series.  The OVER is 21-7-1 in the Twins last 28 home games.  The irony in all of this is that the final score of Game 1 in this series ended with a single run.

PITCHING MATCHUP: White Sox RH Hector Noesi (0-2, 5.23 ERA) vs. Twins RH Ricky Nolasco (0-1, 18.00)

Noesi is 2-2 with a 4.32 ERA against Minnesota while Nolasco is 0-2 with a 5.92 ERA in four starts against the White Sox.

Noesi surrendered 27 homers in 28 appearances (27 starts) with Chicago last season.

This should be a daily fantasy friendly matchup with White Sox RF Avisail Garcia in particular riding a seven-game hitting streak.

Jose Abreau is 3-for-6 with a homerun against Nolasco.

Alexi Ramirez is 6-for-12 with a homer against him.

Conor Gillespie may be the most dangerous of the bunch, playing well currently and yielding 5 hits on 8 at bats against Nolasco.

On paper at least this looks like it can be an offensively explosive game.

Yankees vs. Red Sox OVER 9 - The last five games of this series and six of the last seven have gone OVER 8.5.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees RH Nathan Eovaldi (1-0, 4.15 ERA) vs. Red Sox LH Wade Miley (1-2, 8.62)

Eovaldi faced Boston on Apr. 10 and allowed three runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings without factoring in the decision.  Miley went up against Eovaldi on Apr. 10 and struck out a season-high six while allowing two runs and four hits in 5 1/3 frames but was rocked for seven runs – six earned – on five hits and two walks without notching a strikeout his last start.

Alex Rodriguez, who made history yesterday by slugging his 660th career home run, is 1-for-3 with an RBI in his career against Miley.
