In somewhat of a bold statement, and perhaps overreaction, one bookmaker has made Brock Purdy the MVP favorite.

We released updated MVP odds Monday morning, and "Mr. Irrelevant" has the best chances at 4/1.

Last week at this time., Purdy had the seventh-lowest odds at 12/1. Purdy jumped over Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurst, Lamar Jackson and Christian McCaffrey in a span of seven days.

The majority of other sportsbooks show Mahomes as the favorite. Tagovailoa is second at most places, donning about the same odds at SportsBetting.ag (5/1) as he does elsewhere.

Other books are offering Purdy around 7/1, which is in line with Josh Allen in the below odds.

Ahead of Week 1 this season, Purdy's MVP odds were a whopping 40/1.

Devon Achane, who is dazzling fans and scorching opponents in his rookie season, is quickly moving up the odds board for Offensive ROY.

Way back on April 28, Achane was assigned 40/1 odds to take home ROY honors (Bijan Robinson/Bryce Young were favorites). Going into Week 1 he had 28/1 odds, but after Week 1 he had dropped to 50/1.

Now, the "second-fastest man" in the NFL is second on the ROY list with 3/1 odds. CJ Stroud remains the favorite.

Aiyuk-Deebo Trade Odds and ROY Shift

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
