Joran van der Sloot: “I Was Tricked”

The suspected killer of a young Peruvian college student claims he was "tricked" into signing a confession saying that he killed Stephany Flores.

Joran van der Sloot, who is also the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway, said in an interview with a local Lima, Peru newspaper: "In my blind panic I signed everything, but never knew what was written on them,"

Van der Sloot claims officials told him if he signed the papers he could be extradited to his home nation of Aruba. 

He is scheduled to appear in a Peruvian court Monday for a hearing into the death of Flores, 21, who was found brutally beaten in a hotel registered under van der Sloot's name.  She had met him in a casino earlier that evening after winning around $10,000. 

Van der Sloot was in Lima to attend the Latin American Poker Tour. 

Two other women mysteriously disappeared in Columbia while Joran van der Sloot was there for the Latin American Poker Tournament, reports revealed on Saturday. Both women disappeared prior to van der Sloot's arrival in Peru and were seen with the Dutchman.
