Dan Kelly Doesn’t Care About ‘Silly Record’: 8 WSOP Cashes So Far

Poker pro Dan Kelly says he “doesn’t care about a silly record” when it comes to cashing in eight different World Series of Poker events this year.

The record, for those of you wondering, is 11 in a one summer period.

From CardPlayer.com:

When asked if he would be trying extra hard to cash if he was at 11 and needed one more to reach 12, Kelly unsurprisingly said “not really.”

The quiet poker pro, who made a name for himself on the Internet, called the mark for number of cashes in a single World Series “a silly record.”

Kelly’s total winnings at this summer’s WSOP total $465,000 and he has won just shy of $6 million in career live tournaments.
