The transfer portal has dominated sports headlines this week, and it's rapidly altering the landscape of college football.

And the people who have to pay the most attention to that gaping portal that’s sucked in more than 1,500 players...the oddsmakers.

The storm has somewhat calmed a bit, but the first few days of this week created havoc for bowl game lines. Starting quarterbacks on bowl-bound teams were entering the portal left and right, and spreads were swinging as much as 7 points!

Everyone is watching which teams are hosting or visiting those marquee QBs and speculating where they may end up next season.

And now, for the first time in sports betting history, there are odds to accompany that speculation.

"Our shop has transfer portal odds for these eight quarterbacks below, and please let us know if you need odds for any other players," BetOnline revealed.

Dillon Gabriel

Cam Ward

Riley Leonard

Dante Moore

Will Howard

DJ Uiagalelei

Kyle McCord

Dequan Finn

Gabriel was a favorite to land in Mississippi State with the thought process being he might like to reunite with head coach Jeff Lebby, who served as OU's offensive coordinator the past two seasons.

USC had some terrific value at 12-1 odds.  The Trojans would be in need of a quarterback if Caleb Williams declares for the 2024 NFL Draft, and Los Angeles is a short flight to Gabriel's home state of Hawaii.

ESPN's Pete Thamel broke the news of Gabriel's planned trip to Oregon.  That school would go on to pay out $30 for every $10 bet.

Thamel said at the time: "Sources just told me in the last hour that he's expected to take a visit to Oregon this week. Oregon has jumped out ahead as the favorite for Gabriel's services."

Thamel will conclude his college career with the Ducks.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
