Yawana Twist

Yawana Twist would pay out a whopping $280 for every $10 bet at BetUS.com if he were to win the 2010 Preakness Stakes with odds of 28/1.

He's a long shot having only raced once as a 2-year-old, and that was on Dec. 26.

We thought it was worth taking a shot," Jim Riccio, managing partner of Steel Your Face Stables, said. "He's fresh and he moved forward when we tried him at two turns in the Gotham."

Yawana Twist +450 to finish among the top 3 could be the better bet however despite the slashed odds.  The win would still be good at $45 for every $10 bet.

BetUS.com analysts had this to say about Yawana Twist and his chances:

"Yawana Twist has finished either 1st or 2nd in all 4 of his lifetime races. But that's not the real reason to believe he has a shot to finish in the Top 3 in Saturday's Preakness Stakes. The real reason to believe he can finish in the Top 3 is that he's trained by Richard Dutrow and has enough speed to keep Super Saver in his sights. Yawana Twist has a serious shot of getting into the Top 3 in the race. "
