There were 30 players left standing (or sitting we should say).  Ryan Fair was the 31st elimination. 

The chip leaders were as follows:

1. Billy Kopp - 15,540,000

2. Phil Ivey - 11,300,000

3. Antoine Saout - 10,600,000

4. Steven Begleiter - 9,250,000

5. Darvin Moon - 9,200,000

6. Tommy Vedes - 9,900,000

7. Joseph Ward - 8,800,000

8. Francois Balmigere - 8,700,000

9. Joseph Cada - 8,500,000

Last year's 3rd place finisher at the World Series of Poker main event, Dennis Phillips, bowed out at 45th place.  And for that he takes home a nice $178,857.

One of the more interesting stories of the day was that few people could access the World Series of Poker website Tuesday.  Oh well, there is still Gambling911.com.
