ESPN The Magazine broke the shocking details regarding Mike McQueary.

From the New York Post:

McQueary told a dozen Penn State players during a November 2011 wide receivers meeting he could relate to the young boy he saw being abused by Sandusky because he was sexually assaulted himself as a boy, two players who attended the meeting told ESPN. McQueary didn’t reveal who abused him, when or how long it took place, the sources said. The revelation came just days after prosecutors revealed, in a 23-page document, the former quarterback saw Sandusky and a young boy in “anal intercourse” in the Lasch Football Building on campus a decade earlier.

The story also reveals is McQueary’s alleged gambling problem. Several former teammates told ESPN he gambled while at Penn State, playing poker and betting on pro and college football with a bookie. According to the report, one college friend recalls McQueary, as a junior quarterback, betting on Penn State to cover an eight-point spread against Michigan Stat at Beaver Stadium in November 1996. Penn State won the game, 32-29, so

McQueary failed to win the bet.

Sandusky is currently serving the rest of his life behind prison for abusing young boys.
