Lisa Perry

Our good friend Lisa Perry will be competing in an upcoming fitness contest here in our stomping grounds of Miami Beach, Florida.  Ms. Perry once served as a writer for the Gambling911.com website and was captain of the Indianapolis Colts cheerleading squad.

The event is the 2011 NPC National Bodybuilding Championships, scheduled November 18-19.  Come on down and support our girl Lisa!

How did you get in to the fitness industry?

I was always interested but never knew how exactly to get involved until I met a current competitor and she introduced me to my Coach, Kim Oddo.  I started training and competing this year.

What was the best thing about being an NFL cheerleader (for the Colts)?

The best thing about being an NFL cheerleader, that's a hard one to pin point.  For me, it was the camaraderie between the ladies.  Working together to become the best as one unit.  No matter win or lose, we still gave it our all day in and day out.  Whether you arrive early or stay late, you do what you have to do in order to help your teammate get it perfect.  We were a family.  You are only as strong as your weakest link.

What is something most people don't know about you?

I'm real country lol!  I guess you could say I'm a country girl living a city life.  If I had my choice, I'd live in the country on a farm with a wrap around porch and wooden rocking chairs wearing my cowboy boots, hat and daisy dukes!  I would cook up a big meal and make homemade lemonade and iced tea, have all of my friends and family over for a fun gathering with good music!
