Wisconsin vs. LSU Point Spread Now Tigers -4 With Tanner McEvoy as Badgers QB

The Wisconsin vs. LSU point spread had dropped two points since the Badgers junior Tanner McEvoy was named starting quarterback over the weekend.  The current spread for this game was LSU -4 at Bookmaker.

Badgers coach Gary Andersen initially stated onMonday that he would not be announcing a starting quarterback before the game, but sources told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that McEvoy will start instead of Joel Stove.

"We may know who the starter is, but we're not going to say who the starter is until we jog out on the field for the LSU game," Andersen said Monday.

McEvoy, who started his college career at South Carolina, took most of the snaps during the spring as Stave recovered from a right shoulder injury sustained in the Capital One Bowl.

McEvoy had played at both the wide receiver and safety position last season.

Meanwhile, LSU must now replace starters at quarterback, running back, and two receiver spots.  Still, the Tigers are expected to have one of the most potent offensive lines in the NCAA.

There are no recent meetings between Wisconsin and LSU but this is anticipated to be among the most wagered on games during Week 1 of the 2014 College Football season.  Wisconsin is ranked number 14 in the nation, Louisiana State is ranked number 13.

The Tigers are 1-5 Against The Spread in their last 6 games overall.

The total on this game was set at 50.
