Who Will the Super Bowl 50 MVP Thank First Betting Odds: God Favored Slightly

One of the more entertaining perennial Super Bowl betting favorites each year is: Who Will This Year’s MVP Thank First.  Gambling911.com has your Super Bowl 52 betting odds for this proposition by click on the below banner

The following article pertains to Super Bowl 50

“It takes some degree of skill and research to bet this particular prop, more so than many that are out there,’ remarked Don Shapiro, Gambling911.com Senior Sports Reporter.  “The reason being if a particular player more likely to be named MVP happens to be especially religious, God might be the odds-on favorite.”

With Cam Newton the -180 favorite at most online sportsbooks to be named Super Bowl 50 MVP, God is indeed a co-favorite along with Teammates, as Newton is widely regarded as a team player and leader.

You might recall last year Cam crashed his SUV on a Charlotte highway.

The first thing he did?

Praised Jesus.

"I do not know where to begin because by the look of that picture soMEone is supposed to be dead or severely injured worse than what I am right now," Newton wrote immediately following the crash. "While I am resting up the thought that keeps flashing in my mind is that GOD IS GOOD and someone has their protective hands on my life shielding me from any danger that may come my way!"

The Broncos Peyton Manning, while not having his best year in 2015, is the sentimental favorite to be named Super Bowl 50 MVP should Denver win.

Manning is a Presbyterian and very devout. He has been quoted as saying:

“I always felt it was very important to have a good relationship with the Lord. He always has to be your number one priority. I grew up in a good Christian home. My parents…we went to Sunday school and church every Sunday, so it’s always got to be a number one priority.”

God would pay out $18 for every $10 bet.  Teammates would pay slightly less at $17.

Manning, of course, comes from a prestigious NFL family, is married and has twins.  His wife though was implicated in a scathing Al Jezeera America report involving doping as that network alleges she purchased performance enhancement drugs for her hubby, something Peyton denies.

Whether he wants to mention her or not is anyone’s guess but Family comes in at 10-1 odds.

Fans and City are at 6-1.  Coaches are at 10-1 odds.
