Buckeye State bettors will be able to wager on this year's Super Bowl online from the comfort of your Ohio home using a smartphone, iPad or laptop.

The Super Bowl is the single most wagered on event in North America with many folks who have never placed a wager opting to do so for the very first time in their lives.

Ohio bettors will be out in full force and will be able to place bets on hundreds of different props available at BetOnline.

The state is in the process of licensing in-state sportsbooks, just not in time for this year's Super Bowl.

While neighboring Illinois prohibits its sportsbooks from taking bets on state schools and games that feature them, it would be sacrilegious to tell Ohio residents they cannot place bets on their beloved Buckeyes.

Until in-state licensed sites are in place, sports betting is available in Ohio for this year's Super Bowl from a wealth of websites licensed in other jurisdictions and accessible to those living in Ohio.  Individuals must be 18 or older.  Sites like SportsBetting.ag do not report your winnings.
