Washington, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M Odds to Win NCAA National Championship 2015

Washington, Virginia Tech and Texas A&M odds to win the NCAA National Championship in 2015 were set at 85/1, 100/1 and 200/1, respectively at AceSportsbook.com.

Former Boise coach Chris Petersen will have a new quarterback under center in Cyler Miles for the Washington Huskies.  What doesn't bode well is that Miles was arrested during a Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl celebration.  Bad news there but he also missed much of spring practice.

The Huskies do tend to rank among the bottom 25 heading into this season, however.  The front wall of the defense will be solid and Washington has not lost any of its starters here.  Proven players are in abundance at linebacker as well but it is the secondary position that remains questionable.  The kicking game is also unproven as specialist Travis Coons has moved on.

This is a team that won 9 games last year.  They are tagged by oddsmakers to win 9 games this season as wellSince most of the starters return, the quarterback position remains key at making a stand in the Pac-12.

Texas A&M loses its star quarterback Johnny Manziel, but the oddsmakers are still confident these Aggies will win at least 8 regular season games.

The top two quarterback candidates are sophomore Kenny Hill and freshman Kyle Allen, who together have combined for 22 passing attempts.

As if losing Manziel were not bad enough, Texas A&M's defense has also taken a serious hit following the dismissal of defensive tackle Isaiah Golden and linebacker Darian Claiborne.  There are some strong defensive linemen but these are newcomers who likely will not have a serious impact until next season.
