The 23-year-old said he would not be signing a new deal at the Liberty Stadium.  As such, Sinclair was widely expected to depart by the close of this coming Friday’s transfer window deadline.

City were understood to have made an initial bid of around £5million, according to reports that surfaced on Tuesday.  Swansea wants more, however, due primary to Chelsea receiving a percentage of any fees.
