Super Bowl 2015 Coin Toss Bet – Heads or Tails

The Super Bowl coin toss bet is among the most popular prop wagers on the board with heads or tails being the only option.  That hasn’t stopped books from becoming a little more creative.

BetPhoenix.ag, which was offering up to $300 in free cash bonuses for this year’s Super Bowl, offered odds on the team to correctly call the coin toss and whether they correctly called it.

Now for a little Super Bowl coin toss history:

Heads has occurred in five Super Bowls leading up to last year and six of the last eight.  Finally we had tails in 2014.

In 2006, when Seattle played in the Super Bowl against Pittsburgh, that game also featured a coin toss of tails.

Most online sportsbooks will tend to offer both sides and all coin toss bets priced at between -105 and -115.  Some offer EVEN odds in order to gain a slight edge over the competition.
