Pay Per Head Operations Offer Wide Array of Super Bowl 2014 Prop Bets

The popular pay per head operation WagerHome.com is no different than its post up counterparts when it comes to offering a huge menu of 2014 Super Bowl prop bets.  Let Wagerhome.com manage your players accounts for as little as $10 per head here and remember that March Madness is just around the corner.

If every football and basketball game was like the Super Bowl, we'd all be glued to our television set until the last second; even after the last second, to be able to keep up with all the betting opportunities. For Price Per Head football bettors there is absolutely nothing like it, and it has become an American sportsbook tradition to observe all the creative props that are associated with the Super Bowl, covering every statistical angle, and of course, going well beyond that.

When WagerHome puts out some props, they REALLY put out some props and this is no different with Super Bowl 2014 prop bets. It starts with the coin toss, which, according to the law of independent trials and all other things local, should be a 50-50 proposition, and indeed is about as even as it could be after 47 throws (Heads 24, Tails 23) but has disproportionately favored the NFC team over the last sixteen years, as they have won fourteen of the tosses. The last two years, however, has brought "victory" to the AFC team in that regard, so if you detect a trend coming, you may want to bet on the Denver Broncos at WagerHome. They are priced at -105, just like the Seattle Seahawks. It is also -105 either way for "Heads" or "Tails."

A lot of the Super Bowl props are virtual pick'em affairs, such as who will score first, who will score last, who will score the first touchdown, etc., which is what you may expect from a game where the football betting line is just two points (Denver is favored). But then we get into the stuff that is probably a lot more challenging for the Price Per Head football betting audience at WagerHome.com

For example, let's take a quick look at the "Total Sacks" prop. You can do this for each team. For Denver, the over/under for their defense is 2.5 sacks, with the "under' priced at -110 (-130 for the "over"). And then you want to take note that Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson was sacked 44 times in the regular season. The Super Bowl prop for the Seahawks' defense is two sacks (-220 for the under and +160 for the over). And that is when you should take note that Peyton Manning suffered only 18 regular season sacks. Sorry for not doing all the research we should, but we are willing to bet that very rarely has there been such a disparity in the number of sacks sustained by two Super Bowl starting QB's.

Will there be a defensive or special teams touchdown for either side? Well, the price for each team at WagerHome is the same: -300 for the "NO" and +200 for the "Yes." Is there much value there?

If you want to project and handicap a little, perhaps the "Shortest Field Goal" Super Bowl prop might be appetizing. That's because you can evaluate what you think these teams are going to do once they get to the red zone. For example, the Broncos scored a touchdown this season on 72.7% of their trips to the red zone, while Seattle was only 53.2% successful in that regard. On the flip side, Denver's defense allowed teams to score touchdowns 62.2% of the time down there, while Seattle permitted just 39%. So we've got disparities!

Who'll have the longest field goal? Well, PPH football bettors may be aware that Matt Prater of the Broncos set the record for the longest field goal in NFL history this season (64 yards), if that means anything.  Meanwhile, Steven Hauschka, the kicker for the Seahawks, is 86% accurate in his NFL career, with a career long of 54 yards.

Who's going to score the first touchdown? That's always an intriguing Super Bowl prop. Well, currently Marshawn Lynch is the favorite at WagerHome, priced at +400. Actually, he is a pretty solid individual favorite, as the next guy on the list, Knowshon Moreno, is at +600. The next four guys after him are all Broncos too - Demariyus Thomas (+700) and the trio of Eric Decker, Julius Thomas and Wes Welker, all at +800. And now you know why Lynch is such a favorite; he is by far the best scoring option for Seattle, while Peyton Manning can send the ball in a number of different directions!

There are hundreds of more things you can bet on, including:

* Whether there will be a two-point conversion

* Who will score the longest touchdown

* Which half will see most points

* What will happen with the first coach's challenge

* Total punts or total penalties for each team

* How the teams will do with fourth-down conversions

* What color the Gatorade shower will be.....

.....and as they say, a whole lot more.
