The Cardinals vs. Panthers betting line had been moving between Carolina -4 and -4.5 until the 29th when it jumped to -5.5 and ultimately -6.5.  With the number at -6.5, action has balanced out for the most part.

Arizona quarterback Drew Stanton’s status was still questionable for Saturday’s game.  He did not practice Tuesday and his injured knee was scoped only last Wednesday making a start highly improbable.  That information has helped to move the line further.

The Ravens vs. Steelers line opened at -3 and only briefly moved to -3.5 at some books.  Sportsbooks like 5Dimes, which traditionally move the line constantly throughout the week, have stood pat at -3.  Action is near 75% going Pittsburgh’s way so it is indeed interesting that the books have elected not to push more money towards Baltimore.

Dallas was a -6.5 favorite hosting Detroit. This line was at -7.  Some of the recreational books were leaning more towards the -7.5 while the trend overall was to bring the number down to -6.5.  This is also interesting in that the Cowboys were seeing better than 70% of the action.

Indianapolis opened as a -3.5 or -4 favorite at home depending on the book.  That number has since moved down to -3.  72% of the action was on the Colts.

Of the four NFL Playoffs games, Pittsburgh was seeing the most action.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
