Miami Hurricanes 2014 Odds, Predictions – Name Brad Kaaya Starting QB

The Miami Hurricanes 2014 odds had them at 85/1 to win the National Championship and a -130 favorite to win 8 regular season games or more.  The last time UM reached double digit wins was back in 2003.

Odds may fluctuate now that Matt Porter of the West Palm Beach Post is confirming that Brad Kaaya will start for the school.  He was chosen over Jake Heaps.

Kaaya will become the first true freshman since 2008 to start UM’s season-opener. Before Kaaya, Jacory Harris, who started that year, was the only true freshman to start the opener going back to at least 1978, Porter noted.

While the offense could prove explosive in 2014, Miami's defense must improve after ranking 13th in the ACC last season, allowing 426.4 yards per game.
