The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be resting this week but bookies and agents serving this fan and bettor base are wary in light of the team’s solid 4-0 start Against The Spread.

Georgia Tech’s schedule will be no friend, Ken Sugiara of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution observed.

ESPN’s College Football Power Rankings suggest that the Yellow Jackets have the worst remaining schedule in College Football.

Tech probably needs to win at least four and possibly five to make it to Charlotte, N.C, Sugiara writes.

Next week, Georgia Tech takes on a Miami team that entered Week 6 undefeated at 3-0.   The Hurricanes were expected to open as a -5 point favorite in that one.

In terms of the Jackets reaching Charlotte, here is an excerpt from the AJC:

“I think they have a really good chance,” said former Clemson coach Tommy Bowden, the co-host of “ACC Blitz” on Raycom Sports. He calls Miami the favorite, with Virginia Tech slightly ahead of the Jackets.

Dave Archer, the game analyst for Raycom/ACC Network broadcasts, calls Miami a “slight favorite,” but rated the Hokies and Jackets right behind them, followed by Duke.

“I think they have a chance,” Archer said of the Jackets.

There is a strong enough likelihood that Georgia Tech will maintain a winning record Against The Spread and, as such, bookies and agents in the region should be on notice, this means the entire Atlanta area where the bet takers are already dealing with a red hot Falcons team in the NFL and Bulldogs in College Football.

For a limited time only bookies and agents can test drive AcePerHead.com’s Pay Per Head platform FREE up to 6 weeks.
