Detroit Lions Daily Fantasy Football Picks 2015: Matthew Stafford, Golden Tate

Gambling911.com has your Detroit Lions Daily Fantasy Football picks for 2015 with early season pricing courtesy of StarFantasyLeagues.com and subject to change.

Stafford finished outside the QB1 threshold after finishing in the top-5 the previous year.  As such, DFS players will likely stay clear of Stafford early on in the season.

During the month of September he will square off against a Chargers defense that may lack depth but does contain a solid front line in Week 1 and a Vikings defense considered among the freshest and talented in the NFL.

Instead, one will likely opt for the likes of a wide receiver Golden Tate, priced at $6.3K. Injuries to key Lions players resulted in Tate tallying up a 50-708-3 line during a Week 4 to Week 10 stretch.

A healthy Lions team will see these numbers dip but he’ll still be a formidable fantasy pick.  The last season Calvin Johnson played all 16 games was 2012.  When Johnson is out, do not even hesitate to pull the trigger on Tate unless the Lions happen to be facing one of the NFL’s top 5 defenses.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
