Cowboys – Vikings: Line Moves Down to -2 ½

The Cowboys - Vikings line, which opened at Minnesota -3 overnight on Sunday, had moved down a half point at most online sportsbooks by late Monday evening.  Early spread action had nearly even money coming in on both sides so Gambling911.com doesn't expect much more than a half point line move.  Sportsbetting.com was one of the few books still holding at -3.

The early lopsided action was going towards the money line with nearly 85 percent of those betting a team to win outright felt Dallas will be victorious.

The Dallas Cowboys money line pays slightly better than even odds at Sportsbetting.com.

While the Minnesota Vikings appeared to become unraveled towards season's end (culminating in a dispute between quarterback Brett Favre and his coach), they made a defiant statement by destroying the New York Giants during Week 17.

Brett Favre completed over 80 percent of his pass attempts, the second highest total in Vikings' history with a minimum of 30 attempts.

If this is the Vikings team that shows up to play Dallas, the Cowboys could be in trouble.

But Dallas is one of the hottest teams in the NFC right now, having won their first Playoff game since 1996.

The Cowboys are 2-0 all-time when facing the Vikings on the road in the divisional round.

"This team has hung together all year, got stronger at the end of the year and is playing our best football," Dallas Coach Wade Phillips said. "I think we're playing as good as anybody right now."

Deposit up to $300 and Sportsbetting.com will match that number.  For example:  Open an account with $500 using your credit card or other accepted method and Sportsbetting.com will put another $300 into your account Plus an additional 10 percent bonus (in this case $50).   This offer is for Gambling911.com readers ONLY so click here to open your account!  USE BONUS CODE GAMBLING911 when joining.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
