Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard is the favorite to win the 2024 3-Point Contest during this weekend's NBA All Star Break.  His payout would be a sweet $475 for every $100 bet.

Lillard has so far drained 145 three-pointers this season.

Lillard won the 3-point contest last year.

"I think all the best shooters in the history of our game, most of them have one of these," Lillard said after the win, referring to the 3-point championship trophy. "To be in this competition two times and not have one, I just wanted to get it done at least one time.

Be cautious here as Lillard continues to deal with a nagging ankle injury and had missed four straight games coming into Tuesday night's 123-97 loss to the Miami Heat.  With this in mind, Malik Beasley and Tyrese Halliburton may have the better value with a payout potential of between $500 and $600 for each.

“The last couple of games, it’s been a huge emphasis on just sharing the ball, not letting the ball stick too much, making the extra pass,” Lillard said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “You might have a good look, but it can be one more (pass) to a great shot. And I think tonight, we took a step back from that. We didn’t play that same way.

“And usually when things aren’t going well, on a good team, you have good players, you try to take it upon yourself and maybe instead of making that pass, you feel like you’re going to knock the shot down. But I think we just had too many of those moments.”

Lillard reportedly jerked his ankle against the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 3 and there were still questions as to whether he would be playing against the Memphis Grizzlies Thursday night.
