Opening Line Trend

Even though the Hawks played last night, this line opened on the money and has only moved a half a point to the 3.  For a few weeks, favorites were prevailing nicely at this number but that has since leveled off.

Recent Head to Head

Cleveland won the last two in this series but those games were at home.  The Cavaliers have not won in the last four played in Atlanta.  The last one was within two points though.

Back to Back

The Hawks played in Miami and beat the Heat last night.

Recent Performance

At 11-30, Atlanta still maintains the worst record Against The Spread.  They come into this one having won three straight. The Cavs come into this one having won six straight games.

When playing against a team from the Eastern Conference, Atlanta has failed to cover the spread in 10 of the last 11.

The Cavaliers are 16-9 in conference play. Cleveland is fourth in the Eastern Conference with 11.3 offensive rebounds per game led by Jarrett Allen averaging 3.5.

The Hawks average 13.7 made 3-pointers per game this season, 1.8 more made shots on average than the 11.9 per game the Cavaliers allow. The Hawks average 113.6 points per game, 9.0 fewer points than the 122.6 the Hawks allow to opponents.
