Can I Bet on FanDuel Online From Maine?

Though FanDuel is unavailable for betting for Maine residents and visitors alike, BetUS does offer a great alternative.  And they will be taking bets on this year's Little League World Series to boot.

FanDuel could potentially land in Maine, but that won't be until November of this year, the absolute earliest.  Only four mobile betting sites will be regulated in the state.  Additionally, residents can place bets with licensed international (offshore) sportsbooks and online casinos as well as local bookies on credit.  The later often provide online casino games for real money as well.

Maine Has Its Own Team to Root for in August

The Gray-New Gloucester/Raymond Little League team defeated Canton, Massachusetts to advance into this year's Little League World Series, thus providing residents of The Pine Tree State a home grown team to root for and wager on this summer.

Odds on Gray-New Gloucester will be posted on the BetUS website and updated daily.

New Gloucester went undefeated during the district and state tournaments, outscoring their opponents a very sick 70-7 over eight games.

Red Sox Holding Their Own

Maine's minor league baseball team, the Sea Dogs, are an affiliate of the Red Sox.  So it should not surprise anyone that the Red Sox enjoy a significant fan base in the state despite playing in Boston, Massachusetts.

As of Mid-August, the Red Sox were a few games above the .500 mark and winning at about a 50 percent clip.  Unfortunately, they'll need to perform a lot better in this extremely competitive AL East division in which every club owned a winning record.  Boston, while ahead of the New York Yankees, were 10 games behind the leading Baltimore Orioles.

New England Patriots

Why Your Team Will Suck in 2023: "Hungover from last offseason’s free-agent binge, the Patriots will have to rely on a slightly revamped coaching staff (AHAHAHAHAHA) to un-f*** what’s been f***ed. Otherwise, we’re talking about an offense that will need new WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (replacing Jakobi Meyers) and new TE Mike Gesicki (replacing Jonnu Smith) to fix everything. God, (Bill) Belichick loves spending money on tight ends. He probably offered Anthony Becht a two-year deal in March. New RT Riley Reiff has played for 56 different teams and is here to replace a hodgepodge of Guys who manned that spot a year ago. Throw in LT Trent Brown and New England has a pair of tackles who are just about older than their head coach."

The offense will likely improve, but there is a glaring problem: New England will be playing one of the toughest schedules, at least on paper early.

You can bet the Over/Under regular season win total of 7.5, with the Under favored and priced at -135 or Exact Regular Season Win Totals with way more lucrative payouts if you think you can guess right.

These are listed below and only available ahead of the Week 1 Thursday night game.
