Nobody wants poor Justin Fields.  With seemingly no trade market for Fields, could the Bears conceivably keep Fields AND draft Caleb Williams with the first overall pick next month?

Well, there is plenty of chatter about that exact scenario playing out, and now BetOnline is offering odds for who will be starting in Week 1 IF Fields and Williams are both on the roster.

"Our shop also has other prop bets for Fields, including what draft pick (round) the Bears might receive in a trade, as well as whether or not Fields will be starting for ANY team in Week 1 of the 2024 season."

The Bears shocked the world after trading for Keenan Allen Thursday night, just hours after BetOnline posted their odds.  In fact, as of Friday morning, BetOnline had pulled all its NFL Draft odds momentarily.

Bryant McFadden of CBS Sports commented shortly after that trade: "I don't know if there's another team that has had a BETTER offseason than the Chicago Bears."

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
