The Yankees are under .500 (60-61) following Wednesday's loss to the Braves.

This marks the latest stage of the season in 28 years (1995 was last season Yanks under .500 later in season) that New York has been a sub.-500 squad.

The odds at SportsBetting.ag ever-so slightly favor the Yankees finishing 2023 with a winning record, but they are odds-on favorites to finish last in the AL East.

The Yanks currently have +1800 (18/1) odds to reach the postseason, which equates to about a 5% probability.

Additionally, there are updated "first manager fired" odds, and Aaron "Bleeping" Boone is at the top of the heap.

The other NYC manager, Buck Showalter, is second on the list while Phil Nevin rounds out the Top 3.

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
