Tony Caliente here for Gambling911.com and we nailed another one yesterday with Oklahoma City not only covering against red hot league leading Houston, but winning outright.

Today, another extremely hot team, the Philadelphia 76ers, is seeing much of the action against Dallas at home.

Nearly 96% of the early spread action was on Philadelphia as a -13 favorite and hadn't moved an inch heading into their 1 pm EST game.  At least one recreational book moved the line a half inch to -13.5.

The line on this game, according to the NBA Betting Power Ratings, should only be -8.

A main reason for the five-point overlay: Injuries, including Dallas center Salah Mejri has sat out the last two games due to right knee soreness and his status for Sunday's contest against the 76ers is unknown.

Dallas is concluding its three-game road trip and the last away game of their season.  They did play hard the first two, including an overtime loss at Detroit.

Prior to dropping the last two games against Philadelphia (one within the current spread), the Mavericks dominated this series, winning the previous eight meetings.

The 76ers will try to get one step closer to clinching that No. 3 spot in the Playoffs.

The Mavericks are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Philadelphia. They are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference.

The 76ers are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.

Six of Philadelphia's last ten wins have been by more than the current spread.  Dallas has not lost by 13 or more in their last ten games overall.

The books though take a beating for an early Sunday afternoon NBA game featuring a blazing hot 76ers team so can't see this one going Philadelphia's way, especially so late in the season.  Gotta think Dallas can cover this spread, even with the injuries.
