World Series Game One Betting Line Finally Up: Mets vs. Royals

It’s taken quite a bit of time but the 2015 World Series Game One betting line for the Mets vs. Royals is finally up now that Kansas City has decided on a starting pitcher.

Kansas City is coming in EVEN to -103 while the Mets are listed at -107 to -115 at some books.  There was a total of 7 set on this game.  A few of the recreational books were offering 7.5.

Pitching for the Royals will be Edison Volquez.

The 32-year-old didn't fare as well in his Game 5 start, allowing five runs over five innings, but he'll be given the call to oppose Matt Harvey and the Mets.

Volquez was 13-9 with a 3.55 ERA during the regular season and 1-2 with a 4.32 ERA during three starts in the playoffs.

Yordano Ventura will start Game 3 at Citi Field on Friday, followed by Chris Young in Game 4.

New York had already settled on Matt Harvey, who in two post season starts allowed five runs (four earned) on 11 hits and four walks while striking out 16 in 12.2 innings.  Both were victories.

Jacob deGrom, Noah Syndergaard and Steven Matz will start the following three games for the Mets.
