The Series Overall: Seven of the last ten in this series have gone UNDER 7.5.  Overall, the UDER is 8-1 in the last 9 meetings.  We really like the UNDER 9 for this matchup.

May 5 Pitching Matchup: Rangers LH Wandy Rodriguez (0-1, 4.82 ERA) vs. Astros RH Scott Feldman (2-2, 4.31)

Rodriguez is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA in two outings against the Astros.

Feldman is 3-2 with one shutout and a 2.96 ERA in seven career starts against Texas.

Feldman allowed two runs on eight hits and two walks with a pair of strikeouts over seven innings Thursday.

The UNDER is 8-2 in Feldman’s last 10 starts overall.

May 5 DFS Picks: Prince Fielder has enjoyed 5 RBIs versus Feldman while going 3-for-11.

May 6 Pitching Matchup: Rangers Colby Lewis vs. Astros Samuel Deduno

Lewis tossed six shutout innings, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out eight, but came away with a no-decision in the Rangers 7-5 loss to Oakland Friday night. (Fri May 1)

Deduno enters the rotation on Wednesday for Houston.

May 6 DFS Picks: Jose Altuve is 5-for-14 against Lewis with one double.  His ERA is over .400 in recent days.

Jake Marisnick is red hot right now and this does not bode well for Lewis, who he is 2-for-3 against with two RBIs.

Colby Rasmus is 4-for-9 against Lewis with two RBIs and a homer.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
