Scherzer was slated to start at home against a struggling Atlanta team that had allowed 17 earned runs on 24 hits with 14 walks in 17 2/3 innings.  The odds of him taking a loss in this scenario were not particularly high.

He’s priced steep at $13.6K but does have some value against the Braves, a team he allowed just three hits to the other night (two of which were solo home runs) in seven innings.  Expect an even better performance at home.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
