Judging by Zach Davies somber 0-3 record with a 6.98 ERA, the Miami Marlins batters should have a field day against Milwaukee Tuesday evening.

Davies, who had his first quality start on Wednesday but still ended up with a no-decision, will have to deal with a group of strong lefties that have been able to pound right-handed pitchers.

All three first starters have a wRC+ between 126 and 142 vs RHP, according to Rotogrinders.com.

This looks like a solid core group to target mediocre or worse RH pitchers with for the foreseeable future with tonight being no exception, Rotogrinders says of the Miami batters.

Justin Bour has hit 3-for-5 off of Davies in his limited appearances against Miami batters.  That included a home run.  Bour should be able to beef those stats up further this evening.

Had Davies secured the win his last start, we may have considered the OVER 8.5 for this matchup.  Marlins starter Adam Conley is priced too high (-165 and above) to bet on Miami. The wagering public overwhelmingly likes Miami at -170 with 80 percent of the action on the Marlins.

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
