The Indians vs. Cubs Game 6 World Series betting odds had Chicago at a huge price of -230, Cleveland +200 and a total of 7.  The Cubs face possible elimination Sunday night with a loss.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Indians RH Trevor Bauer (0-1, 5.00 ERA) vs. Cubs LH Jon Lester (2-1, 1.69)

Bauer’s “drone” accident has wreaked havoc on his pitching abilities during the post season.  He failed to get beyond the 3.5 inning point in his last appearance.  The 25-year-old Bauer has never started a game in the majors on three days of rest.

Lester gave up three runs in 5 2/3 innings in the Game 1 loss but he still owns a 2.60 ERA in 124 2/3 innings in his postseason career.

The Cubs lost to Cleveland Saturday night putting the Indians up 3-2 in this World Series.

Chicago was the slight 5-6 favorite to win this year’s World Series.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
