McHugh was expected to be priced around $8000 Monday taking on the Royals at home.

The Astros were 9-0 in McHugh’s last 9 home starts versus a team with a winning record and a very impressive 18-4 in his last 22 home starts.

McHugh allowed six of the first seven batters of the game against New York (Yankees) to reach base before he was ultimately removed in his first start of the season. We may have seen this coming, however, as the Yankees had been solid versus right-handed pitchers last year (102 wRC+) and they return most of their hitters.

HOT TRENDS: The Astros 18-4 in Collin McHugh’s last 22 home starts prior to April 11.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
