Preakness Stakes Racebook Updates

All odds are as of May 10. Off odds should be close to odds listed.

Justify                         1/2

Good Magic                9/2

Diamond King             16/1

Bravazo                       25/1

Quip                            25/1

Sporting Chance          33/1

The bettors are all over Justify, the Derby winner. It makes sense because Justify is trained by Bob Baffert. Baffert has previously trained 4 other Kentucky Derby winners.

All 4 of those Derby winners, including American Pharoah in 2015, won the Preakness after winning the Derby.

Based on the odds, Justify appears to be a lock to take home the Second Jewel of the Triple Crown. Good Magic is receiving some support at 9/2 while Diamond King has gotten a couple of looks at 16/1.

Bravazo, Quip, and Sporting Chance project to have no shot.

Strategies for Online Bookies

There are a few things online bookies should do to ensure profit on the 2018 Preakness Stakes. The first thing they should do is set max betting limits on all horses to win.

That includes setting a max betting limit on Justify.

To be safe, bookies should set a max betting limit of half of what they set on Justify and Good Magic onto Diamond King, Bravazo, Quip, Sporting Chance, and any other equine offering odds to win the Preakness Stakes.

Here’s an example:  if the max betting limit set on Justify and Good Magic is $200 to win, the max betting limit on all other entrants should be set at $100.

The second thing pay per head agents should do is to set max win limits on the Preakness Stakes.

The Derby superfecta paid over $19k. It makes no sense for an individual sportsbook owner to pay out $19k on a horse racing bet.

Don’t tempt fate. Set the max allowable to win on the Preakness Stakes at something like $5,000.

Get your Triple Crown deal from PayPerHead.com before the races are over, and start building your sportsbook empire.
