The stunningly beautiful Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu comes in as the favorite to win the 2021 Miss Universe pageant.   Sandu represents India and would offer a payout of $30 on every $10 bet should she be crowned.

The 21-year-old from Chandigarh is an advocate for women's empowerment.  Even as a child, Sandu assisted her mom in teaching women's health and hygiene at camps.

Sandhu is an actor who enjoys yoga, playing chess, swimming and dancing.

This year alone, she starred in two Punjabi films “Yaara Diyan Poo Baran” and “Bai Ji Kuttange.”

"It feels surreal and I cannot explain it in words how grateful I am to God and each and everyone who has been a part of my journey. But, along with the title comes a great responsibility to carry forward a legacy with utmost determination and passion.

"I will make sure that I represent myself as the best version of my country and make India proud at Miss Universe 2021. Also, I see this opportunity as a way of strengthening the relations between Israel and India," Sandhu said.

Early indicators are that this year's Miss Universe will be a significant betting event.

The 70th Miss Universe Competition will air live from Eilat, Israel on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. ET on Fox.  Steve Harvey returns to host.
