MLB Picks and Predictions May 12

A relatively light schedule on Thursday May 12 sees eight MLB games. The last one is intriguing as the Philadelphia Phillies continue their West Coast swing against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 10:10 ET first pitch.  BetUS has live odds on each of these games here.

There were four day games as the New York Mets opened against the Washington Nationals at 1:05 p.m. with three other games starting shortly thereafter (already in progress at the time of publication).

Our focus therefore will be on the night games.

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
