Texas will take on PA as a -205 favorite.  Pennsylvania pays out $16.50 for every $10 bet to win Wednesday night and ultimately advance.

Pearland Little League rebounded from an early loss to eliminate Iowa from the World Series.

Texas is in the Southwest Region, with a payout potential of $1400 on every $100 bet should they go on to win it all.

The Mid-Atlantic Region, for which PA is in, pays out the same odds.

Prior to the Hawaii loss, Texas went undefeated since district play.  The kids were able to process that one over pizza.

"By the end of the night, we got some pizzas back at the dorm, and the guys were laughing, and we were very tired. But pizza and bedtime," Pearland coach Robb Zurek said.

"Pizza always helps," Pearland player Jackson Wolfe summed up.

Not sure if the pizza helped them to eliminate Iowa, but they were back to their winning ways.

Texas is two wins away from a championship appearance on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania put an end to Hagerstown's run.  Hollidaysburg routed the Indiana team 10-0.

Braden Hatch went four innings Tuesday and was able to shut down Indiana with runners in scoring position in the first and third innings.

I couldn’t be prouder of the performance that Braden had on the mound,” Hollidaysburg manager Jim McGough said. “He’s a big part of our team. I love to see him go out there and control the game.”

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
