The Draftkings mobile sports betting app had previously only been available for wagering to those in New Jersey but the entire state is covered by either the Philadelphia media market (South) or New York City media market (North).  This means that those living in Eastern PA and the New York City area could see the Draftkings app commercials.

The more convenient way for NYC residents to place bets prior to January 2022 was from their sofa with BetOnline.
