Bally’s Wild Wild West Casino in Atlantic City is slated to open its new sports book as early as next week, though parent company Caesar's has not confirmed an official date.

New Jersey legalized sports betting with physical sports books located in three locations covering each section of the Garden State: South (Atlantic City), Central (Monmouth Racetrack) and Northern NJ (Meadowlands).  Online sports wagering could be available soon though residents in the state can still access any number of internationally licensed Web gambling sites to place sports bets.

The 8,190-square-foot temporary sports book will feature 30 leather chairs situated in front of three large television screens and five smaller screens.

Wagering windows will be located diagonally across from the viewing area.

To date, the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Ocean Resort Casino are the only establishments offering sports betting in Atlantic City at this time.

The US Supreme Court ruled to allow sports betting in all 50 states provided local laws are to be amended.  Nearly half the states are unlikely to permit sports wagering for at least the next two NFL seasons.
