$95 to Fill Up a Car as Gamblers Pumped Over Gas Price Betting

BetOnline boosted its price on gas sitting at Over $5 on June 30 to $30 for every $10 bet (still a steal).

Just yesterday (we know) BetOnline had the Over at -170. If you are reading this article on June 30 and laughing about the good 'ol days when gas was at $5, keep in mind that the BetOnline odds are always changing and need to be locked in at the time the price is established.

The prices are official as found on gasprices.aaa.com at the very end of the day recorded June 30 and are for REGULAR only.

Prices hit $5 national average Thursday after rapid rise and, in California, drivers are paying an average of $6.40 per gallon.

In all 50 states, the average price of a gallon of gas stood above $4.40.

The spike in demand coincides with a shortage of crude oil supply amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the summer travel boom.
