2023 Midseason vs. Preseason NFL Odds Comparison
We're at the midway mark of the 2023 NFL regular season and it is now time to look at which teams are living well above expectations and those that are total flops.
A team's record Against The Spread speaks volumes.
The Saints, for example, are 5-4 Straight Up but have only covered in two games heading into Week 10. Atlanta is another team that has played below expectations with their 2-7 ATS record while hovering right around the .500 mark Straight Up.
The Bills are by far the biggest disappointment of 2023. Sure they have a winning record at 5-4 but Buffalo has only covered in three games thus far.
We will say that the Straight Up and Against The Spread records in the NFL mimicked one another pretty closely for the most part.
The preseason odds compared to the current odds tell an even greater story.
While some may say this year hasn't been as exciting due to scoring being down or poor officiating, this is still the greatest league in the world, and the next nine weeks are sure to come with some surprises.
