Indycar Grand Prix of Houston Odds and Betting Predictions

Gambling911.com has your Indycar Grand Prix of Houston betting odds courtesy of our good friends at BetDSI.com, who also offer up some predictions in the video below.

Indy Car Odds: There are two IndyCar races in Houston this weekend with Race 1 of the IndyCar Grand Prix of Houston taking place on Saturday on NBCSN while Race 2 will be on Sunday. Last year it was Scott Dixon winning the first race while Will Power took the second race. It will be the second time this season that IndyCar will be racing twice on the same weekend as they held two races in Detroit earlier this month. There will be another doubleheader in July in Toronto.

Here is a look at the IndyCar Grand Prix of Houston races and IndyCar predictions.

Road Course Racing

This weekend will mark the seventh and eighth road course races for IndyCar this season. The winners of the first six races on road courses were Will Power (twice), Mike Conway, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Simon Pagenaud and Helio Castroneves.

Heat Expected to be a Major Factor

IndyCar might have made a mistake by changing the IndyCar Grand Prix of Houston from October to June. The temperatures in Houston this weekend are expected to be about 90 degrees with humidity from 70 to 80 percent. It will be a very difficult two days for all of the drivers. "This will test everyone," said Justin Wilson, "Anyone who says this weekend won't be an issue [physically] is either lying or not driving fast enough. Everyone's concerned about it, and some people deal with heat better than others..."

One of the drivers who will be best prepared is Will Power who is known for his great workout routines. "It will be difficult, and I always find the first half of the race is tougher as your body is getting used to things, but after that, you're kind of locked in to the race.” Power said, “If there's a yellow around the halfway point it's perfect, because you can recover a bit and get your second wind. I think everyone's aware it's going to be bloody tough, but I can't wait..."

IndyCar Predictions

I will look for Will Power to win at least one of these races and a sweep would not surprise me.
