Swine Flu

Costa Rica is home to the largest concentration of online gambling sites in the world.  The Central American nation's President has now been confirmed with Swine Flu.

Oscar Arias says he has swine flu and has been quarantined at home with a fever and sore throat.

In a statement, the 69-year-old president and Nobel Peace Prize winner said Tuesday that he is being treated with the anti-flu medicine oseltamivir.

The statement says Arias suffers from asthma and is at higher risk than most.

In the US, a proposal awaiting Defense Secretary Robert Gates' approval would allow the military to set up regional teams to assist civilian authorities in dealing with the impact of the swine flu pandemic.

Foreign governments, too, are thought to be drawing up worst-case emergency plans that rely heavily on armed forces, according to Fox News.

"In addition to planning mass graves and crematoriums operating around the clock, governments are planning to implement martial law in response to a pandemic," Kurt Nimmo wrote on Infowars.com, which has been tracking disturbing developments in swine flu preparedness.
