Matusow Removes 90 Percent of His Political Tweets: 'Much Happier Person'

Four time World Series of Poker champ Mike Matusow has tired of tweeting about politics.

An ardent supporter of U.S. President Donald J. Trump has come under fire over the past two years for his politically charged tweets.

Now it appears Matusow is backing away from politics, at least via Twitter.

He followed that tweet up with this:

I have all respect for anyone's point of views when it comes to a political opinion but what I can't stand is people in my mentions that say things that they have no clue what they're talking about weather be left right or Center! #geteducated

That tweet led to some good humor as Matusow misspelled the word "whether", using "weather" instead.

One person tweeted:

Yeah, those wacky point of views should be more educated weather or not they’re marinated in FOX “news” Poo

Another added:

That’s all you talk about. Basically you deleted people who disagree with you right? Lol you’re a very small minded man.

One follower of Matusow suggested that fellow poker pro Daniel Negreanu, another player outspoken about politics and definitely not a Trump supporter, should follow Matusow's lead.
