On Monday, a poker player posted his alleged account of a meeting he had with poker pro Daniel Negreanu (known as Kid Poker), and it wasn't a pleasant one.

Las Vegas resident Anthony Gargano tweeted:

Daniel Negreanu sent me this very nice email several years ago. Yesterday, because of my red #MAGA hat, he called me a Nazi, criminally menaced me, asked me if I had a "fucking problem," and if I "wanted to fucking go." I fear all that soy has rotted Kid Poker's mind. @lorenkln

Gargano noted that Negreanu had been very nice to him in the past, having made a generous donation to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Negreanu, a Canadian by birth who currently resides in Las Vegas, is an outspoken critic of US President Donald Trump.

Gambling911.com cannot independently confirm at this time whether the incident indeed took place and, if so, where.  No mention of it in social media has been made by others attending the World Series of Poker Main Event.

The tweet comes at a time of high tension in this year's World Series of Poker where one man was sent packing for calling an African American player a "ni**er" while record WSOP bracelet holder Phil Hellmuth came under fire for his outburst at the tables this weekend.
