With Gun Runner the runaway favorite in Saturday's Pegasus World Cup at Hallendale, Florida, there is a great opportunity to get down on some of the other entrants, each of which promises a payout of $500 or greater on a $100 bet or $50 or greater on a $10 bet.

After Gun Runner, Collected was coming in with the second shortest odds of 5/1.

"Hopefully he jumps out extremely well," trainer Mike Smith said of his horse Collected.  "Get out and get into a place that I feel is happy and comfortable for my horse and then see where everyone's at.”

But make no mistake about it, barring an upset, this race is all about Gun Runner.

"Everybody is going to have their eyes on Gun Runner and Gun Runner is going to have his eyes on everybody else,” said Ron Paolucci, who owns Sharp Azteca as well as War Story. ”It’s going to be an exciting betting race.”
