2011 Kentucky Derby Betting Odds

With early favorite Uncle Mo scratched, 2011 Kentucky Derby betting odds had Dialed In as a much bigger favorite at +250 for a payout potential of $250 on every $100 bet or $25 on every $10 bet at Bookmaker.com

"We were pretty high on him from day one but you have to see them run," trainer Nick Zito said of Dialed In. "I told a bunch of people I liked this horse. So when the day came and he ran and he broke not as good as he could break and he was way back and was kind of in trouble and kind of did this and did that and then he just came running, we got excited."

Dialed In had become the new favorite after Uncle Mo’s health issues became public.

Suddenly, Nehro is getting more attention as the second biggest favorite.  Nehro would currently pay out $450 for every $100 bet

Trainer Steve Asmussen said Nehro looked green in finishing second in the Louisiana Derby.
“He started to show it in the final part of the Arkansas Derby,” trainer Steve Asmussen told the Thoroughbred Times. “He showed an understanding in wanting to pass horses. What a difference. He had a better feel of what he’s supposed to do, more desire.”
