Gambling Portal Webmasters Association representative, Rebecca Liggero, has been banned from appearing future Casino Affiliate Programs (CAP) events, including an upcoming show in London later this month.

CAP organizer, Warren Jolly, sent the ban notice via email to Liggero.

A defiant Liggero announced she will still be heading to London.

"I will tell everyone I know about this absurd behavior and that THAT is where their marketing dollars are going," the normally docile Liggero bellowed.  "Warren is a jerk!"

Liggero's company is also in the online gambling affiliate business, offering a similar model to that of CAP, but in recent days the GPWA President, Michael Corfman, has accused CAP organizers of running a "rogue" online poker room, CardSpike.com, which has failed to pay many of its affiliate partners.

Corfman issued the following statement this past week:

"Still, I kept quiet and did not say anything. Perhaps I should not have stayed quiet, but there are limits on what level of attack is appropriate against a competitor, especially when that competitor is quick to threaten lawsuits ... a topic for another day.

"But anyway, now that the cat is out of the bag, I can confirm that what I have been told is far worse than anyone might imagine. My understanding is that principals at CAP, which claims to certify programs and represent affiliates, are running a rogue operation and ripping off affiliates on the side."

"So you have an organization being paid by affiliate programs to help them establish new affiliate relations that is, behind the scenes, using the affiliates who are referred to them through those programs and through ******* to promote Cardspike.

"And then you have Cardspike, which is an online gaming operation beneficially operated by US citizens, that accepts US players. Simply unbelievable. What goes around comes around."

CAP organizers continue to deny any ownership interests in CardSpike.com.

Liggero remained dumbfounded on Sunday while a guest of the Poker Stars Bahamas Caribbean Adventure.

"I'm so pissed off- I have done NOTHING to bring this on- Michael Corfman, sure, I understand, but me?  I have kept my mouth shut until now, but this is totally out of hand."
